Coordination Geometries of Metal Ions in Metallophthalocyaninato Complexes

An overview of macrocyclic systems consisting of various number of isoindole units and forming different phthalocyaninato complexes with different geometries and stoichiometries is presented. Sets of structurally distinct metallophthalocyaninato compounds are discussed with a view to allowing the reader to better understand the current state of the studies in the field.

Keywords: metallophthalocyanines, bicyclic phthalocyanines, double-decker and triple-decker homoleptic metallophthalocyanines, stapled bis(phthalocyaninato) complexes
