Measurements of solution heat and fusion heat of lithium formate monohydrate (HCOOLi.H2O) crystals

The solubility curve of Lithium Formate Monohydrate (LFM) crystal was measured using laser schlieren technique in 300-320K. According to the effects of temperature to solubility, solution heat of LFM crystal was calculated. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis of LFM was performed in the temperature range of 300-500K. Endothermic peaks of the DSC curve of LFM crystal were assigned, and fusion heat and hydration activation energy of LFM were calculated.
