A three-dimensional polyoxovanadate formulated as HV3O8·H2O has been synthesized by hydrothermal method. Its structure was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belong to monoclinic system with a space group P21/m, a= 4.9980 (10) Å, b=8.4188 (17) Å, c = 7.8614 (16) Å, α = 90.00°, β =96.40 (3)°, γ =90.00°, V= 328.72(11) Å3.
